“No matter the waves of life, you are resilient!” ~ ME

ScootAble was founded out of the resilience of one of my dearest and sweet as pie best friends of 20+ years. Shhh! she doesn’t know I wrote that. She started her divorce journey not knowing where to turn, what to do or what to expect. The example I always share about the divorce process is like someone turning the lights off on you in a room full of stuff and telling you to navigate across the pitch black room to turn the lights back on. It can be frustrating, tough and painful but also liberating. She brought me along on this very personal journey and I am proud of her, proud to stand by her and stand with her. We are learning as we go, one step at a time.

One thing we know for sure is that we want to create a space that those on this journey can turn to for guidance and support. With this social movement it’s not only about building with one brick at a time but the building of a divorcee’s confidence in their journey to a brighter tomorrow.
